Read the reason before trying again
- Note the aircraft named in the AIRFRAME U/S banner. Repeating the order will not remove the restriction.
- Open ASMA, choose INTEL and read the failure report for the affected base, aircraft or equipment. If it seems missing, use the filter guide to return to the unfiltered view.
- Check ASSETS and the QRA launch choices for another available aircraft or base. Do not assume every aircraft of that type is affected.
- Keep monitoring the airspace while the event runs. If you paused to read the messages, use the time controls to resume when ready.
- Watch for FAILURE RESOLVED or the relevant restoration message, then check availability again. Fuel, weapons and other task requirements still apply.
What does “unserviceable” mean here?
It means unavailable for use because of the reported problem. It does not automatically mean the aircraft has been destroyed. The game can temporarily reduce the aircraft available at a particular base and stop an affected aircraft accepting a new mission.
Will a supply flight repair it?
A SUP delivery replaces fuel and weapons. It does not itself clear the timed failure restriction. Read the failure report instead of treating every unavailable aircraft as a supply shortage.
How does a temporary event end?
These events have their own durations. When the event ends, the game removes that event’s restrictions and normally posts a resolution message. There is no single repair time to apply to every event. If the base has since been destroyed, do not expect a “resolved” message to mean that the base or its aircraft have been restored.
Why not in every training lesson?
The ordinary random-failure system is not injected during training missions in v0.8.16.0. Training lessons can still have their own scripted situations. Use the lesson instructions rather than waiting for a campaign-style random event.
If the warning no longer matches the situation
Keep the original failure message, any resolution message, aircraft or base name, game version and a saved game. Include whether game time was paused and whether another event is still active. Use the problem-report guide if the aircraft remains blocked without an explanation.
